Navy Humor's mission is to create and offer quality products that bring to life the camaraderie, humor, and experiences that make life at sea so memorable. Whether you're an active-duty sailor, a proud Navy veteran, or someone who simply appreciates the life and legacy of the U.S. Navy, we've got something for you.
As a Navy Veteran-owned and operated brand, we understand firsthand the bonds and values that unite sailors. We believe that every Navy story deserves a good laugh and a nod of respect. From classic inside jokes to iconic symbols of Navy life, each item is created with the spirit of Sailors in mind.
A Navy Family, Through and Through
I am a former US Navy sailor — and the proud son and grandson of former Navy sailors. My brother-in-law is a former Aviation Machinist's Mate, so the Navy runs deep in this family.
One of my earliest photos is of my dad telling me goodbye as he leaves for a Med Cruise in 1965. He did 10 years of service, aboard the USS Sylvania and the USS Shangri-La, ending his career with a P-3 squadron, VP-16 War Eagles, at NAS Jacksonville. He served as an Aviation Storekeeper — and I have a lot of memories of spending time around the aircraft in his squadron.
Like my dad, I served for 10 years. I enlisted as a Machinist's Mate and eventually rose to the rank of Machinist's Mate First Class.
After graduating from boot camp at Great Lakes and completing MM A School, I went on to serve in the engine rooms of two different Submarine Tenders during a 6-year deployment to Holy Loch, Scotland — the USS Hunley (AS-31) and the USS Simon Lake (AS-33).
From there I attended the Military Police Academy at Lackland Air Force Base.
After graduating, I became a patrolman at NAS Memphis, going on to become a Watch Commander before separating from the Navy with an Honorable Discharge in 1993.

We Remember the Good Times and the Bad
As the years go by, most of us find ourselves reminiscing about our prior lives as sailors. For a lot of us, we became the people we are today during our time in the Navy. We remember the good times and the bad, the struggles and the laughs.
Navy Humor was founded to feed those memories — the laughs, the pride, the traditions. We use quality products with all our designs and stand behind each and every one of them. Our goal is to provide all our shipmates out there with apparel that represents all aspects of Navy life and service.
